Jou Mikimoto (幹本 丈, Mikimoto Jō) is a Chef and Businessman, the owner of Tempo Felice, Colton Tokyo Restaurant and another unnamed restaurant, the the ex-husband of Tsukiko Fujii, the biological father of Hina Tachibana and Rui Tachibana and the stepfather of Hibiki Mikimoto

Plot[]

Tsukiko's ex-husband and Rui and Hina's biological father. He is the owner of the Italian restaurant Tempo Felice.

He separates from Tsukiko, Rui, and Hina due to his affair, although the affair serves as an excuse. In reality, the separation is caused by the debt of the restaurant he manages.

Two years after the breakup, while working again, he meets Hibiki's mother and remarries. Hibiki then becomes his daughter-in-law. After remarrying, he changes his management policy, reopens Tempo Felice, and opens two additional stores.

He calls himself a philanthropist and is supportive of the relationship between Natsuo and Rui, referring to himself as "an old man who understands." In fact, he is even supportive of Rui's shift changes and holidays.

Etymology[]

  • The name Jou means "height, length, stature, measure, all" (丈).
  • Jou's surname Mikimoto means "stem, trunk" (幹) (miki) and "base, root, origin, source" (本) (moto).
