Template:DomeKano Char Info Kengo Tanabe is an antagonist in Domestic na Kanojo. Initially coming off as a charming man, Kengo is actuality an abusive individual when it comes to relationships. He briefly dates Hina Tachibana, but after being rejected, Kengo began stalking her. After further intervention which led to him getting fired, Kengo went to stab Hina, but ended up stabbing Natsuo Fujii instead, which led to his imprisonment.

Kengo is introduced as an unassuming and charming man. Once Hina Tachibana rejects his marriage proposal, Kengo reveals his true colors as a obsessive and abusive man with a lack of empathy. With his previous girlfriend, Kengo constantly ridiculed her and continually harassed her once she called off her engagement; when she confronted Kengo about her abuse, he simply gave her a look of contempt and walked away. When Hina rejects his proposal, Kengo stalks and harasses her in the same way, determined to win her back. After being imprisoned for attempting to murder Hina, he displays his lack of empathy once more; during a talk with Natsuo Fujii, he states he shouldn't be imprisoned because Natsuo ran in the way of his knife and regards himself as fundamentally different from the other inmates.
